Erica is an expert in developing health strategies for human capital enhancement while addressing issues such as health risk, absenteeism and presenteeism. She has a Masters in Health Promotion with an emphasis in Human Resource Management and also holds a BS in Exercise Physiology. Currently, Erica works with over 30 organizations providing consulting and training on the use of technology as a platform for optimal wellness programming. She also serves on a worksite wellness executive committee for the Department of Health and Human Services Region V.Previously, Erica was a National Health Promotion Coordinator for Federal Occupational Health working in partnership with the Air Force to service a civilian workforce of 60,000. Her experience also includes corporate and hospital based wellness programming, incentive design and health and productivity management solutions. She has worked among "Platinum" awarding winning wellness programs recognized by the Wellness Council of America and the Institute of Health and Productivity Management. Her research has been focused on exploring presenteeism and absenteeism. Erica is the developer of the Health-related Productivity Loss Instrument (HPLI), a measurement tool to pinpoint cost health conditions, measure change overtime and estimate the indirect cost of illness on a population. She oversees the Research and Development of Positive Purpose & Motivation products. Erica is an adventure seeker with a passion for the outdoors. Currently residing in Denver, she spends her free time mountain biking, hiking, snowboarding, camping and teaching group exercise. Erica is leading the way in the health promotion industry by presenting at numerous conferences throughout the year and providing services, tools and essential cutting-edge programs to federal agencies and businesses.
