The most important thing you can do at a workplace is take care of the people that work with you. The tyranny of the urgent has taken over our lifestyles, and franticness has become the norm. According to the World Health Organization, Depression has surpassed all other chronic disease as the number one cause of sickness in the United States today. Show your employees that you care and Bring goodness to them with energy, compassion and life changing information. These programs are offered in one hour sessions and * 8 and 16 week series.

When we are able to confront life with such involvement and enthusiasm, we can be said to have achieved an autotelic personality. An autotelic person is one that has experienced flow in life and moves through each day with high intent, inexhaustible psychic energy, and fully immersed in the current of life. This session will present such concepts as the autotelic personality, flow, finding and creating flow in everyday life, and creating and engaging in optimal experiences across the lifespan. Participants will learn how to be more autotelic in their thought and deed.

Dr. Allen  capitalized on strengths and achieved a dream come true to honor and serve friends with cancer by cycling 2,927 miles across America in 26 days, from San Diego, CA to Tybee Island, GA. That was in 2006. She did this again in 2008 and served the Hope Center for Kids in North Omaha. It takes a certain "go for it" attitude to accomplish such feats. In this session, you will become more autotelic in your own life.

Creating Your Personal mission statement

All of us have strengths and authentic gifts to share with the world. In this session, get ready to have fun and reinvent yourself. You will explore your strengths and develop an intention and plan of action to set your personal mission free.

In This Session You Will

  • Discover a full list of personal strengths using positive psychology's talents and strengths.
  • Learn what a personal mission statement is and its importance for optimal well-being.
  • Integrate your personal strengths into a personal mission statement.
  • Develop an action plan to put your personal mission into place.

What comprises the good life? The future of the good life embraces old tenets and new paradigms that may have the biggest impact on the health and global well-being of human beings than any other innovation in history. This session explores wellness through an orchestrated symphony of positive psychology, the art and science of happiness, and good business paradigms that provide you, with the most cutting edge rationale for raising the bar on health promotion. It is time for a change in how we think about, promote, plan and enjoy wellness.

By the end of this presentation the participant will:

  • Ask the question - "what comprises the good life?" . . . And then answer it.
  • Experience processes that can lead people to positively engage in everyday life.
  • Analyze six core virtues and twenty four strengths identified by Seligman and work done in authentic happiness research and compare to the Gallup Organization talent assessment.

This session provides an overview of what depression actually is, how we can acknowledge it, and provides real life strategies for moving forward with a focus on the things that matter in life. Is there such a thing as positive psychology? This session answers this question - and more! For many of us, it is our mind and how we feel that is the number one barrier for engaging in lifestyle habits that support health. Let's move beyond our own internal barriers and truly become what we think.

Ever bounced back from a circumstance that truly knocked you down? This session provides an opportunity to look at what the ingredients are of a resilient person and provides a way to build every day resiliency and tolerance to challenging situations. Furthermore, you will acknowledge the protective factors that need to be in place to cope with the every day stressor of life.

Did you know that being thankful is an important ingredient for savoring life? In this session, we explore the power of "thanks" and focus on what is right in life. Take an few moment to pamper and celebrate the things that you have in life, that do indeed bring you joy and help you sustain life.

  • Participate in two powerful gratitude activities designed with your wellness in mind.

By now you know that most of us are overweight. Even worse, our younger society is at risk for metabolic syndrome and early onset of disease that can be prevented. But is obesity "all that bad"? This session will provide for you some eye opening ideas about obesity and offer some honest and suprising answers to many of your questions about this obesity epidemic. You will leave this session more literate about what this obesity epidemic is all about. And first of all, we are naming it ALL WRONG. There is more to beauty than meets the eye.

  • Understand the correlation between BMI and health (you may be surprised)
  • Review habits and chronic disease risks
  • Explore the impact media has on our own self-esteem and image of beauty for men and women.
  • Rename the obesity epidemic and use this language to shape positive behavior change and positive health practices.

This session, for women only,, particularly focuses on the affects of perimenopause and menopause, and provides a place where our hot flashes, night sweats, and power surges can be honored and recognized. This is a pretty fun session, designed with your body, spirit, and sizzle in mind.

  • Discover ways to move through this time in life with a determined and powerful presence

This session is designed to connect with some of changes made in the lifespan of men. Is it true that men always fight or flight? What is all the talk about mid life crisis? Do you find yourself looking back more than you do forward/ This session, conducted by one of our male consultants provides some powerful questions and answers to some of the most prominent questions asked by men.

  • Explore life as a time traveler moving backwards and find satisfaction with the past.
  • Examine life through a forward looking paradigm.
  • Engage in life through the lens of the present.

This 16 session program focuses on giving a jump start to those individuals that want to make a behavior change that includes weight loss. All programs are done on-site with your low down in mind. Move and groove sessions are on-site exercise sessions designed with your group in mind, towards building good health practices. Offered January, February, March, April, September October, Must be done on a M/W or T/Th schedule

So you don't have time to exercise on your own? Have you ever really had fun exercising? Well, THIS SERIES makes exercise FUN! Using music and joy, this onsite exercise class will have you feeling GOOD from tip to toe. Make this a workplace initiative. Give the gift of wellness to your employees. From chair aerobics to a full blown aerobic class, these sessions are guaranteed to be full of joy and goodness while we exercise our options for good health. Worksite must sign up for a minimum of 8 sessions. Offered in January, February, March, April, May, September, October November, December

The focus of this program is to help adults help children and youth believe deep down inside that who they are and what they do matters. children have the ability to achieve great and wonderful things, given the right tools and positive, person-centered support by the people around them. it is critical to provide opportunities for children to build self-efficacy - the experience of themselves as capable and able to meet life's challenges - and establish strong supportive youth.
